MR: Cecile Moreno

_{I finally did an app Ahhhhh I was going to do one during spring break but didn't have the courage too. Sorry if there's any mistakes ;w;  But I love how she turned out, not just the art but compared to all my other MaxRide FCs, she's the most unique/diverse one. I had alot of fun designing her and I think I'll have fun roleplaying too, maybe hopefully <3 Also sorry for any typos, I was typing most of this late last night, I did my best to comb through it and fix it, but I could have missed some.}

Name - Cecile "Ce" Moreno (goes by Ce sometimes)

Powers - 

Enhanced Strength- She is stronger than most others, and uses the muscles she has, plus her weight to help  pull, push, or move things in general. Her flipper, (Is that what it’s called??) also packs a big punch if you accidentally get smacked by it.

 Iron Lungs- She can hold her breath for a fairly long time underwater (Up to 30 minutes) if she’s swimming leisurely or just relaxing in the waters.  But if she’s panicked, stressed, or swimming in harsher waters that require more energy, she can only hold her breath for as long as a normal human being.
Weaknesses - 

1-Handed- Her whole right arm is basically a flipper so that makes many day to day things hard for her since she only has one hand/arm. She has gotten used to it for daily things, but still struggles with doing things with others because of it. The flipper doesn't even benefit her swimming either, the way it’s structured makes it’s useless for swimming fast or in currents. 

 Heavy- The flipper gives her a good amount of weight on her right shoulder, plus her excess muscles, gives her a heaviness all over her body. This can make her sore if she doesn't rest after awhile. Although she has adapted to cope with this, she still needs to rest ever few hours to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.

 Dry Skin- The scales on her flipper can become dry and uncomfortable for her if they don’t receive any hydration through water. This gets annoying to her since she has to swim, or at least soak in a bath at least once a day, and it also cuts a big chunk of her day out.

Personality -    Cecile is a sassy little girl with a pretty big attitude. When she first meets people, she can give off a rude vibe, but that’s how she always is. She’s pretty sarcastic in some situations, and has a huge ego to match her hot-head/stubbornness. Sometimes she even annoys herself with the way she acts around others, but she’s thankful/loves anyone who can tolerate her for more than a minute.  Being very ambitious, she does her best to achieve her dreams, and do what everyone else does. But because she can’t physically do a lot things like others, she tends feels really down about herself, and becomes very snappy or just quiet.

Biography -       Cecile was born to a poor family in the slums of Puerto Rico. Her mother loved her but knew her family didn't have the money to provide for another child. So instead of keeping the baby, her mother decided to give Cecile up for adoption, hoping her child would have a better life in someone else’s arms. At the time Itex was rounding up their next generation of mutants-to-be, hoping to merge them with the life that lived in the Caribbean Sea. So Cecile ended up being ‘adopted ‘by the scientists at a seaside school where they specialized in aquatic/reptilian mutants only. Having access to a secluded beach, the scientist at the school gave Cecile the DNA of a green sea turtle and hoped that it would extend her life and make her a powerful swimmer. Unfortunately for them, neither of those happened. The DNA started to take over her right arm, and scales/green skin started to form over it. Soon it grew over the whole thing, leaving her with a turtle flipper on one side, and a human complexion on the other.   The scientists there thought it could help her swim, but because it grew over human bone it wasn't even shaped for swimming. It was just one big, long blob of flesh. But they kept her around anyways to monitor her aging process, just in case.
    When Cecile turned 14 she got fed up with being there, She wanted to be free so she could swim and explore the ocean and maybe find a place less boring than where she was now. On a summer’s night, when the turtles were laying their eggs on the beach, and the scientists were out collecting DNA from them, she made her escape. Cecile first powered her way out of her cage, using her weight to push the bars, and then stacked items so she could crawl out of the window. When she finally squeezed herself out, she used the cover of night to enter the ocean, swimming out north and hoping to find and island up there. She swam for what seemed like months, but it didn't bug her because she was semi-built to live of the shallow seas of the ocean. When she finally found land, it wasn't an island, but a beach somewhere on the South tip of Florida. Cecile was determined to stay there, but there were just too many Itex branches still lingering on the East side, so she instead headed towards the West to find a better place. Originally she placed to head Northwest to Washington, but along the way she stumbled across the refuge and instead of continuing her journey, she decided to stay for the safety and food. Also the people too, but she’ll never admit that.  
Extra -
 -She can spend up to 30-40 minutes just trying to tie her shirt up in the morning

-She has this sweater she wore when she was walking among the humans, it covers her flipper and basically makes her look like a girl wearing her boyfriend’s hoodie.

-Is Vegetarian

-Love the sun/warm things

-Little bit of a fashionista, even if she can’t wear most clothing items
